Editing Page Content

Log in as Officer
-
Click the menu from the masthead you wish to edit (excluding Image Galleries)

The page will be displayed, and click the "edit" tab

Revise as you would any word processing document OR
-
Delete everything and "Paste from Word" (small Icon immediately above "bold" icon)
-
Click "Save" and preview your revision by clicking the appropriate menu in the masthead
-
Log Out
Loading Images to the site
-
Log in as Officer
-
Click "Administrator" > "Create a Gallery" (where images will be stored & accessed by users) > save
-
Click "Create Content" > "Image"
-
You're prompted for an Image Gallery > Select the gallery created above
-
"Select Images" > Navigate to location of images on YOUR computer (e.g. My Photos, a flash card, a CD, etc.) Use Command key to select individual images > when desired images are highlighted, click "Select"

Image Content says "...Pending" so click "Upload Images"
-
After a moment, you're prompted to the "Next Step" to write a caption for each photo
-
Click "Done" and view Image Galleries link from the Masthead

Log out
Upgrading Drupal (e.g. to a new version)
Local Host
• Remove "Sites" folder and reserve
• Download Upgrade from Drupal.com and extract
• Replace entire contents of local host with new version
• Delete new "sites" folder
• Upload entire contents to server
Back up Database (Go Daddy Site)
• Log in with account number and password
• Manage Domains (all are listed)
• Click Hosting Management > My Hosting Accounts (from "Hosting" pull-down menu)
• Select "Manage Account" (next to domanins being hosted e.b. nickviani.com or centennialmensclub.com
• Click Databases (pull down Menu)
• Click Mysql
• Click the pencil to access tools for managing database
Server Level
• Place site on Maintenance Mode
• Run www.yoursite.com/update.php (& follow screen instructions)
• There may be a message to change permissions "True" (via GoDaddy FTP)
• Log in and remove site from Maintenance Mode
• Enable modules disabled in upgrade instructions

Content Type (Administer) - add "Video" content type

Customize (edit) Contact Type "video" (save)

Manage Fields (next to newly-created content type "video") > Create New Field

Scroll to Filefield > Attach new file > choose file > upload > save

At this point the file is listed but there is NO Media File

Enable plugin (so it's switched on)
